Why Take Road I?
- Learn how people who are confident road cyclists ride and why.

- Practice some maneuvering and avoidance tricks that may save your skin (literally).

Why Take LCI Certification?
» There will be a need for trained cycling instructors,
advocates and mentors all over Alabama as "Safe Routes to Schools" sweeps the state,
reinvigorating our children.
Road I certification is the first step in training this bicycling "workforce".
LCI certification is the second step needed.
AlaBike would like to train a dozen new LCI's all over the state to support Safe Routes to Schools programs
which is scheduled to begin in fall 2008.
